Milano Auto Classica – 22, 23 & 24 February 2013
Last week-end, along with the beginning of the most famous « Milano Fashion week », was held in the capital city of Lombardy the second edition of « Milano Auto Classica ».
The first edition of this yet classic event was already held in February 2012 at the Rho Milano Fiera plant using two huge exhibition halls.
In 2013, the organisers have managed to fill in three exhibition halls with even more beautiful & rare cars.
Between cars displayed by well-known Classic cars dealers from the Italian peninsula, several stands were held by the most famous brands like Ferrari – the Museum, Maserati & Zagato namely displaying a most rare Porsche Carrera GT by Zagato.
On the other hand, the show was also celebrating the « 50 years of the Porsche 911 » but also the « 50 years of the Mercedes SL Pagoda » with a dedicated exhibit showing a line of more than a dozen of Pagoda SL cars in beautiful condition.
Cars exhibited ranged from a popular, yet rare nowadays, Fiat Multipla to a flamboyant Maserati Spyder and passing by many Range Rover Mark I or Lamborghini Espada and other Lancia Stratos to name just a few !
Also between many cars exhibited, like an impressive number of Lancia Aurelia GT and some rare Cisitalia & Ermini's, it is to be mentionned that this fair is leaving a large place to many car restorers active in Italy showing their high quality work.
Fans of car litterature are also being taken care of with some of the largest dealers of motoring documentation in Italy being present to the show with most rare documentation being offered for sale.
No need to say that this exhibition was a great success and is already appealing for the 2014 edition that we will certainly visit again.
